TAKE A HIKE

Take a Hike is a full-time alternate education program that engages vulnerable youth ages 15-18 through a combination of academics, therapy, adventure-based learning and community involvement in British Columbia.

Students in the program often struggle with issues that have inhibited their success such as drug and alcohol addiction, physical and mental abuse, criminal activity, low self-esteem, depression, and/or trauma.

The program's goals are to minimize barriers to learning, address personal issues, and help students achieve greater social and academic success.
